T1 Voice

T1 Voice is a technology based on DIA DS-1 service but instead of data traffic for Internet connectivity, the circuit is used for inbound and outbound voice traffic. There are some limitations to some features like caller ID. This service is sometimes used for Long Distance and 8xx service at a much lower rate than traditional LD service.

Long Distance

Long distance costs have come down drastically over the past few years and are often a service that businesses are over paying too much for. Many telecom vendors will bundle a number of long distance with Internet or phone service or give a lower per minute rate.

Hosted PBX

An ever increasingly popular alternative to on-site telephone equipment is a Hosted PBX service.  These services have the latest Enterprise level features, high quality sound and the reliability that businesses expect without the expense of a traditional PBX.  The provider manages all of the software and hardware updates at the datacenter removing the expense of calling a technician to come on-site to manage changes.  The day-to-day management is done through a website that is simple to understand.  We work with several providers and can find a solution that matches your business needs.

PRI (Primary Rate Interface)

PRI (Primary Rate Interface) – This voice service is built off of a T1 circuit and provides 23 channels (lines) for either inbound or outbound calling. The 24th channel, D Channel, provides the inbound and outbound caller ID features and also maintains the timing between the PBX and the telecom provider.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_Rate_Interface

Conference Calling

With the cost of travel being so expensive many companies have purchased this service. With large calls most phone systems are not able to have more than a couple of simultaneous calls and there are not enough phone lines available for a business to have a conference call with 25 callers or more. Conference calling service has an 8xx number that participants call into and hear music on hold until the leader starts the call.

VoIP Services/SIP

VoIP Services/SIP – (Voice over Internet Protocol or Session Initiated Protocol) Is a telephone service that provides voice communication over an Internet connection. The service typically uses the SIP protocol to manage voice connectivity for both ends of the call. Most cable companies are offering packages that include Internet and phone service.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_over_IP

Analog Phone Lines

Often called POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) are standard phone lines similar to what is provided for residential phone service. With a business class of service the costs are much higher but there are more features available like Hunt groups and conference calling. We are able to provide these services through CLECs at a substantial savings.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plain_old_telephone_service
